Hi, my name is Sarah Cleavenger, I have been raising rabbits since
March 1993. My rabbitry is registered with ARBA #A238. I am a 50
hole rabbitry, spread out through three buildings, located in Seattle,
Washington. However, I am currently averaging around 20 Dutch.
My fiancé just recently got a couple of rabbits of his own. He will be
raising English Spots, under the rabbitry name "
Sporting Spots
Rabbitry". In January, the Dutch and English Spots will both be
shown under both of our names.
Many breeds have come through my rabbitry, such as Netherland
Dwarfs, Dutch, Harlequins, Tans, Mini Lops, Rhinelanders, and
Silver Martens. I have also had a Checkered Giant and Britannia
Petite for a short time to learn more about them. Dutch have always
been my main focus, I have had them since July 1994. I specialize
in the Black and Blue varieties.
The main line I use in breeding my Dutch is Lloyd Gregg’s
“Trelawn”. I’ve also crossed in rabbits from Don & Carol Johnston,
Pete Nelsen, Jill Pfaff, and Rick Lehmann over the years. Most of
my rabbits go back to my original stock which came from Donna
Brak and Jan Coffelt’s lines when I first started in the breed.
I became an ARBA Judge as of November 2007. I'm number 855.
